– the latest date for sending the confirmation of eligibility for Physically challenged participants is 17 August 2025

– don’t forget that all competitors must have a valid IOF Athlete Licence (Competition rule WTOC 6.11 or https://orienteering.sport/iof/for-athletes/athletes-licence/).

Bulletin 3 has been published.

The final inspection of the WTOC 2025 preparation by advisors Per STÅLNACKE from Norway and Petteri HAKALA from Finland is done. We started in Hungary by two days of revision of PreO2 and PreO1. Last third day was used for revision of the Relay and TempO competition.

Yesterday, IT testing was carried out in the relay and tempo locations. The goal is to provide immediate results after each answer, whether in PreO or TempO races. The basis is a independent satellite internet connection via Starlink, followed by the use of an optical cable and a high-quality WIFI connection. Of course, there is a backup using classic mobile operators. And of course, an enthusiastic group of IT specialists is watching over the whole thing.

Applications (accreditations, entries to competitions and some services as parking and banquet) were open. In embargo areas was update area Sümeg for PreO 2 (castle part).

We would like to remind you the deadline for booking accommodation during which it is possible to guarantee the proposed price and availability. The hotel Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Bratislava proposed for Slovak part of WTOC 2025 is possible reserve to 28 February 2025 and hotel Kapitany Wellness proposed for Hungarian part of WTOC 2025 is possible reserve to 30 April 2025. You can find more details in Bulletin 2.

In menu PUBLIC COMPETITIONS AND TRAININGS ► TRAININGS you can find a list of possible trainings that have already been or will be. Most of the trainings or competitions are processed using the TrailO Trainer platform, so you can download the trainings to your mobile phone or tablet (Android) and use them at any time. You only need one person to set up the flags and the others can train. If you have any questions about the platform, please contact Ján Furucz. We plan to add more of the competitions or trainings to the list over time.
